ABOUT US
Chris and Ellen Carr were married on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2007, but their story together starts many years before. In fact, Chris and Ellen have lived and worked in the Lakewood area all of their lives, and have become active members in the community. They are members of Clover Park Rotary and both support numerous community programs and their Lakewood Chamber of Commerce.
Chris started his career with his aunt, Marcia Crelling, owner of Marcia’s Silver Spoon Café in Tacoma. He began at the age of fourteen as a dishwasher and worked there for ten years in every other aspect of the business. Along the way, he gained an appreciation for the dedication and hard work that it takes to make sure the customer's experience is the best it can be. His love of the business and commitment to excellence is part of what makes Carr's Restaurant such a special place.
Ellen’s career also started at Marcia’s many years ago. She too, has worked in several aspects of the business ranging from a prep cook to waitressing and has a degree in Business Management. Ellen knows from experience that good customer service is not enough. The staff of Carr's Restaurant is committed to providing a fun, family-friendly atmosphere that will have you revved up to come back again!

Carr's is a family owned restaurant who strives for a pleasurable experience every time you dine with us. We take great pride in our efforts to go the extra mile in carefully planning each meal from scratch, with quality and fresh ingredients. We believe in service with a smile and in forming lasting relationships with our guests. Each meal we serve should remind you of "home" and we offer a warm welcome to each of our visitors as an extended member of the "Carr's Family".

Carr's Catering services are as unique as your event. We can do as much or as little of the work as you may need. We customize each quote based on your individual tastes, always keeping your budget in mind.

Our Chefs have many years of experience behind them, and should there be an item you desire that is not on our menu, we would be happy to put our best efforts forth to create it for you. Our menu only highlights many of the culinary delights that our team has developed.
